As you strengthen your writing, Young Author has crafted a platform geared towards different regions of the United States, every month! For Spring, we're focusing on the West Coast. This is what's happening: you'll be writing a short story, which must be between 450 and 500 words, about Memorial Day! In doing this, your story will be seen by students across the nation! After filling out the Consent Form, you may submit your piece through email (by 5/17/2024 @5:00pm PT). Please note that this competition is a way for you to showcase your writing, while inspiring others to do the same. Thank you!
Publicize your writing here for free! Write a story—which must be under or equal to 500 words—about any topic you'd like (so long as it's school-appropriate). After emailing youngauthor.org@gmail.com with the information listed below, we'll post a link to view your work. Please note that this is not a competition; rather, it's a way for you to reveal your writing to students across the United States!
